How KAI credits work
One KAI credit covers one standard AI-powered action, such as drafting a reply, summarizing a conversation, or generating an authorized AI response. More complex tasks may require additional credits. Your usage is always visible.

Planned launch policies
- Regular in-app messages won't use credits unless they ask KAI to do something.
- Unused monthly credits won't roll over.
- At launch, there will be no unexpected automatic overage charges. KAI will simply stop AI actions when your allowance runs out.
These credit controls are planned for launch and aren't running during the preview. The preview makes no paid AI calls.
